Resource Management Plans

The State Resource Management Plan (RMP) is the result of a year-long collaborative effort between PLPCO, the Commission for the Stewardship of Public Lands, State natural resource agencies, and each county in Utah.

The preparation of the State RMP was preceded by the completion of 29 unique County Resource Management Plans, a first-of-its-kind effort not only in Utah, but nationwide.

The State and the counties are currently using their plans to coordinate management actions with the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service.
